    TROPICAL BASICS

As summer begins to heat up so should your wardrobe! Tropical patterns are hotter than ever this season and they aren't just reserved for your next island getaway. Nature loving women are embracing these hotter than nature prints in their everyday looks. Natural green palm prints, graphic black and white leaf patterns as well as blue and white exotic foliage help bring the Tiki Bar to the city streets. So lets get you feeling like you are on the beach in paradise with this new summer basic!

    BLACK + WHITE

No matter the occasion or season, you can't go wrong with classic black & white! This polished combination adds a degree of sophistication to any pattern and will never go out of style. We used this palette to elevate our intricate paisley designs, bold tribal prints and graphic texture patterns. By not over complicating our color story, the pure beauty of the design shines brighter than ever!

Below are some examples of prints on how we developed this classic look for our original print collection.

Gladiator Boho Chic

Along with the warmer weather comes my urge for dressing more bohemian and casual. I'm a huge fa of loose fitted clothes, especially during summer as they tend to be much more fresh. The summer has yet not landed so there is a need to bring some sleeves into the picture. This dress is just perfect for in between dressing and it has that boho-chic vibe to it especially when mixed with pair of gladiators. Talking about gladiators, I have been on the look out for a pair an these ones was just right! ow I just need a pair of lace-up ones that reaches almost to the knee.

Happy Midweek!

    TONAL PATCHWORK

Women’s denim introduces a 70’s mood with striking patchwork prints, executed in tonal denim blue shades. Clean lines enhance simple cuts, as seen in the form of cropped culottes and flared jeans. Meanwhile, more casual DIY looks can be created with pieced-together materials and raw edgings. Double-denim coordinations make a contemporary statement when formal jackets are styled with jeans.

    FLAT FINISH

In the Flat Finish trend, Fall/Winter denim emerges with anti-treatment finishes and clean-cut designs. Purist shapes lend a chic appeal, from A-line mini dresses to longline coats. Wide-leg dungarees can be layered over a tactile roll-neck knit for a cozy winter 70’s look, as high-waist silhouettes and shirt collar details emphasize the modern-retro feel.

Red Lips

Going through your wardrobe should definitely be done several times a year. I don't know about you but my wardrobe situation is not the best. Folded garments get lost in between others and I find myself finding things that I even forgot I had. Well I usually clean my wardrobe at least four times a year and sell stuff that I haven't used for a while. My rule is that if I kept something for two years and never worn it, I'll probably never will! In our new apartment the space is smaller so I'm trying to find out a good solution on how to organise my clothes so that they hang nicely and are easy to find. So if you have any suggestions, please HELP me :)

Have a great day!
